A thousand watt burst of electricity surges through the dormant Red Key Designs site. Silence ensues as the anticipation boils to the break of madness.
A slight twitch is seen. No one dares to move; scared of making any, even if insignificant, mistake.
Another twitch.
A large gasp of air with eyes wide in astonishment send the crowd cheering of true happiness. The energy in the area at maximum level, for the time has finally come..
Red Key Designs.com HAS A PULSE!
–
Yes, the site is officially, finally launched. I, David Parker, owner of RkD, was so excited to announce it, I decided to do a little fictional piece; I hope you enjoyed it!
I feel an explanation for the extravagant intro is due:
I have been part-time freelancing, building amazing websites, for about a year now. However, I have not been in the position to cut it cold turkey; building up my skills and knowledge, moving a couple times, having a beautiful son, and generally constructing and preparing for a successful plan to implement.
I have decided to go all in, feet first, with all my preparations, support, knowledge, and a tad bit of personality to pursue my dream: to be a successful freelance web designer.
What I present as my first objective is this very site: Red Key Designs.com. A full writeup on the design process is in another post, however I would like to explain some of the more emotional** meanings so that you may get a better feel for what Red Key Designs stands for and what we have to offer you.
The first thing you notice, by choice, is a bright red, skeleton key. “Ok, you are Red Key Designs and have a red key as your logo. I get it,” you say. However, indulge** me for a second as I explain the deeper meanings: red, the color of PASSION! It is a common fact: nothing great manifests without passion as a Key ingredient. However, passion is not something you can pretend if looking for true success. I truly feel passionate about building amazing, result driven websites!
Red Key Designs is a web design company using the latest technologies, newest and best software, and is run by a pretty hip dude** so why is it represented by the older style skeleton key? Well good ol’ Wikipedia says it quite well:
“The term “skeleton key”, in a more general sense, is also sometimes used in reference to a key or similar object capable of opening any lock regardless of make or type.”
Whatever your goals, whatever your audience, we will unlock and achieve. That is my personal promise and the backbone of what Red Key Designs stands for.
So with this knowledge in hand, it must be a no brainer that you would like to chose me to meet your web design needs! However, feel free go check out my work and a little more about me and RkD before heading over and contacting me.
